Have you ever visited a web site and thought to yourself- "oh yeah, I remember this site, boy I wish I had remembered to visit it last week when I was looking for...."? I know I have. I try to bookmark useful sites, but my bookmark list has grown so long it is not as effective in aiding my Internet navigating memory as it used to be. It was with this in mind that we decided to create SearchQB.com for Desktops, a small and simple program which gives you quick access to SearchQB.com directly from your desktop. You do need to have an Internet connection to use the program- it is not an offline version of our site, but rather a quick and easy way to remember and access our web site direct from your desktop.
SearchQB.com for Desktops is a small program that contains no spyware or adware or anything like that. Think of it as a bookmark alternative- a basic web browser we created set to load to SearchQB.com on launch, so that you don't have to rely on a bookmark in Internet Explorer or Mozilla FireFox to remember to use our site. In time we will be customizing the browser with useful interfaces for football scouts, GMs, journalists, and fanatics, but download the first edition so you will have quick and easy access to SearchQB.com right from your desktop.
Update 4/23/07: The first edition of SearchQB.com for desktops is not quite available yet as we are still fine tuning it, but we should have it ready within the next few days, and it will be available for download on this page when it is ready.
